Mas Dibyo was born in Pacitan, East Java in 1962. He now lives in Tuban, East Java. "The pattern of thought and my 'behaviour' in my process of work don't demand a justification from anyone. 'I just do it', the sound of heart and also my inner feelings which I express in my work, are believed as 'a proof', which are useful for my history and my world." He was part of the group show "Song of Peace" and "Small II" at Pranoto's Art Gallery. |

Suminarto was born in Solo in 1941. Educated at the HBS (Surakarta Artist Association) under the tutelage of Dullah and Sumitro. His body of work includes landscapes and still life, but mostly figures and portraits. He works in a realistic form, combined with impressive brushstrokes and colour range. He just completed a solo exhibition at the Maya Ubud Hotel and has participated in the exhibition "Small" at Pranoto's Art Gallery. |
