Kutaraja, Sumatra in 1936, died 2012. Self-taught artist, lived in Bali since the 1960s, the later part of his life he resided in the beautiful, cool mountains of Bedugul. His bright colour, strong brushstrokes, rich landscapes and brilliant dancers reflect his fascination and intimate knowledge of his adopted home. |
